How To Add Featured Image In Carrington Mobile

Login to your WP Dashboard
Goto “Appearance” > Themes > Editor
Under “select theme to edit”, Choose Carrington
and click Select.
Click “Theme Function” (function.php)
Copy below code and paste it there

$first_img = '';
ob_start();
ob_end_clean();
$output = preg_match_all ('/<img.*?src=\"((?!\").*?)\"/
i', $post->post_content, $matches);
$first_img = $matches[1][0];
if(empty($first_img)){ //Defines a default image
$first_img = "default image link";
}
return $first_img;
}
Now click “excerpt” > excerpt-default.php
Copy below code and paste it there
