Webmaster Tips to Make the Most out of Google Search

There are such a lot of things that we can do with a single website called Google. As a #blogger, there are certain Important Google Search or Usage methods
that you must know. In this post, I’ll tell “How to Make Use of Google as a Webmaster”.
1.
Google working as a Plagiarism Checker
The first thing I do when I discover a new blog is
“Checking whether the content is Original or not”.
Quality of a Blog depends on the quality of the
content. If the content is copied from some other
resources, I’ll come to a conclusion of quitting the blog
for no other reasons. Aah.. Forgot to tell you.. Do you
how to check copied Content? Well, I’ll tell you.
Just copy a sentence from a blog (minimum 7 words)
and google it with double quotes. eg: “These are the
most working and easiest search engine Optimization
Tips”
Here, If you’re able to find any pages other than the
specific blog, you can make sure that the blogger is a
copycat.
BTW Don’t tell this to anyone if you are a copycat and
also… Don’t test this trick with my Blog
2.
Searching for Pages of a Website
This tip can be useful if you are searching for Blogspot
or WordPress Blogs. All you’ve to do is to use some
Google Search tactics. Just Google for “your search
term site:blogspot.com“. Here, Change “Your search
term” with your keyword.
This trick can be used to search inside a single
website too. Just replace blogspot.com with the
website URL that you need to search inside.
3.
Finding exact Results for your Search term
When we Search about something, Search results
maybe of different titles which can be totally
different from our Search term. This happens due to
the “Relevancy and Influence” of that page for the
specific Query.
This Google Search algorithm may not be useful
every time. In this case, Try Googling with Search
terms inside Double quotes (“) where the results will
be 100% Exact to your Search term. eg: “infoloaded”.
4.
Check your Indexed Pages & Backlinks
Google allows us to check our Indexed pages using a
Simple Search term “site:yourwebsite.com“. Still, Do
you know How often google Indexes your pages?
Well, I will tell you how. When you search for the
specific “site:xxx.com” term, Google will take you to a
Search results page consisting of all indexed pages of
your website. Now, Click “Show Search Tools” that
you can find in the left sidebar of Google search. A
Drop down menu with several options will now
appear on the sidebar. Click “Past 24 hours” to view
all your pages indexed in the last 24 hours. You can
follow the same procedure for checking the Index of
Past Week, Month, Year etc.
In the same way, You can check your website
backlinks by replacing “site” tag with “link” tag. eg:
“link:mextena.com“.
5.
Google Can be your Calculator
I hate to get out of Firefox while I’m online. So, What
I will do if I want to calculate something? Google can
do this for you. Just type a math Problem in the
Google search box and click search. Google will come
up with the answer quickly. eg: “1156+134“
6.
Google Dictionary
I’m a regular user of this method. Do you know why?
Just because of my English.. It’s toooo ugly Maybe
because I’m a Non-Native English speaker with less
than 10 Years of Academic Experience. oh.. off topic..
Back to our topic.. Think that you are reading an
Interesting post. Suddenly, you got stuck on an
unfamiliar Phrase used by the blogger. What you’ll
do? Will you be able to use your Oxford Dictionary to
find the specific term by Searching for a long time??
Here comes the importance of Google. Just try google
the specific word/phrase. The first few results may be
wikipedia, urbandictionary or something like that.
Without clicking those links, you can easily
understand the meaning of your search term.
Got something extra? Then, Why don’t you share it
here. Please use the comments section for doing it.

Hello all to Google #Blogger a.k.a Blogspot user. Do you still using the default subdomain of your blogspot, at myname.blogspot.com? There are many things you can do to make your blog "level up", and the first step is to use your own (custom) domain name on your Google Blogger / Blogspot blog.

How to Gain Credibility As a Blogger

1
Create a blog based upon a topic you know well and love.
Your passion and knowledge will come through your words to help you establish #blogger credibility. Knowing your topic well will not only make it easier for you to come up with interesting topics your readers will want to read about, but it will make it easier for you to stick to blogging on a regular basis.
2
Post high-quality, informative content that is relative to your blog.
Conduct keyword research with a tool such as the Google AdWords keyword tool to find out what people are searching for. Craft your post ideas around these ideas to provide content people are looking for.
3
Post on a consistent basis. Your readers need to
know when they can expect to read posts from
you. After you've established a strong readership,
you can get away with posting on a less-consistent
basis. But when you are just starting out, being
consistent is important to reach your audience as
well as build your library of content.
4
Take time to reply to comments and questions
when visitors respond to your blog posts.
This
makes you part of the discussion and builds the
interactivity aspect of the blog. If you don't reply to
what your visitors are stating, they may be less
likely to come back and remain part of the
discussion.
5
Reach out to other bloggers in your niche. This
could be offering guest posts, commenting on their
posts and engaging in conversation, or linking their
blog on your blog roll. A blog roll is a list of links to
other blogs that is displayed on your blog. Building
relationships with other bloggers in your niche can
help your blog grow, the same as networking with
people in the real world.
6
Provide an "About" page where you disclose
however much information about yourself and
your experience as you feel comfortable with.
This helps to establish who you are and where you
are coming from for your readers.

Reasons Why You Will Never Make Money Blogging

So let’s get to the point:
You’re either new to blogging or you’ve been blogging for a while now and probably think you know everything there is to know about it.
You’ve probably learned how to use #WordPress …or #Blogger and have been playing around with it creating a good looking design.
You’ve even published several posts with a target of going viral, generating traffic and making money.
But it doesn’t happen that way, right? No success.
Duh… Looking back at all the months spent blogging,
no one cares about what you put out there; no one
reads your post.
Are you not forgetting something? I mean you may
be missing out on something:
Your readers.
I know the excitement that comes with owning a
blog and putting out content to make quick bucks,
but to save you from making any more blogging
mistakes, here are a few mistakes you should avoid:
1. You are not concerned about Finding and
growing a Niche
What is your blog about?
Tech? News? Business? Food?
Lots of new bloggers fall into the trap of writing
whatever the hell that comes in their head. A
passion, or niche can not only help boost your traffic
but also grow your audience.
Look for what you’re good at and write about it.
2. Blogging for the Money
So you want quick money blogging? I hate to break
it to you but blogging isn’t for you pal.
All of the people who jump into blogging while
dreaming of $$$ hardly ever succeed.
Why?
This is because blogging is a skill that takes passion
as a prerequisite. Getting listed on Google alone
might take about 2 months. Without the passion to
create valuable content and using the required
marketing strategy to achieve great traffic, you will
be disappointed in the long run.
The race for quick wealth can often lead to many
mistakes; don’t let blogging be one of them.
3. Copying Other People’s Content
We call it plagiarism. That’s right.
So many new bloggers come along the statement
“Content is King” and end up pumping out lots of
low-level content by copying other people’s work
without due credit.
Do you know what happens after that? All the effort
generally goes to waste because search engines don’t
rank these low-quality posts compared to better
higher quality ones.
Never sacrifice quality for quantity and always keep
in mind that one good solid post is a lot better than a
bunch of low-quality ones. Besides, with the
advancement of search engine algorithms, bottom
feeders that go about copying people’s content are
easily latched out. Don’t make that mistake. Create
your content.
4. Too Many Ads
I know you will agree with me that most ads that
show up on web pages are not only painfully
irritating but also annoying. Truth is, too many ads are
not just bad for users but for S.E.O as well.
Want to drive traffic and keep your visitors coming
back to your blog, don’t use too many Ads.
5. Your blog lacks User-friendliness
A number of new bloggers seem to be so focused on
traffic that they never stop to look at the design of
their blog.
Your blog shouldn’t be a maze to navigate through. It
should be designed in a way that is easy for the user
and in a way in which it properly displays your
content.
Ever stopped to take a look at your font? How about
your blog’s color combination?
People come to blogs to gain information, if your blog
is unreadable then there’s no point of it even being
there.
6.Not promoting your blog
Have you ever wondered how most blogs usually
end up on the first page of Google search, and others
don’t?
Hard work!
A key mistake so many new bloggers make is
relying so much on search engines and nothing else.
Let me remind you that there are millions of blogs on
the web; hence it would require you to put in the
work in order to get to the top. The more you
promote your blog, the more backlinks you earn and
the higher you will get ranked. It’s that simple.
