Three most popular plugins for adding a sitemap to a WordPress site

These are the three most popular options for adding a sitemap to a #WordPress site.
XML Sitemaps
This is probably the quickest and simplest way to add sitemap functionality to your WordPress site. There are minimal configuration options, and it generally does a good job of generating a useful sitemap that includes all the pages that Google should be made aware of. It’ll also ping Google to let it know when pages have been updated.
Google XML Sitemaps
Google XML Sitemaps does basically the same job as the first plugin we looked at, but it gives users more fine-grained control over the creation of sitemaps.
You have more options to deal with, but the plugin provides sane defaults and it should give the desired results without too much fiddling, while giving you greater control.
WordPress SEO
WordPress SEO from Yoast is probably the most
popular WordPress SEO plugin available, and along
with all its other features, it includes the ability to
generate sitemaps. If you want an all-in-one SEO
solution, this plugin is a solid option.

How to secure and optimize wordpress websites

There are so many people want to secure and optimize the
website.
You can find 100’s of blog post related to security and speed, but not all of them cover everything!
Here are the steps I take to secure words
1. Hide admin panel (first things to do).
2. Hide the main directory like wp-includes, wp-content.. etc..
3. Disable PHP execution from Uploads Directory
4. Disable Directory indexing.
5. Never use Nulled/Warez Plugin, Themes or Images. (Paid Plugin/Theme but free Download), those people usually add malicious code!
6. Install Firewall for disabling or block the common attacks like direct file access, XSS, LFI, RFI or SQL Injection.
7. Try to use Dedicated Hosting instead of Shared, or use a reputable shared hosting provider.
8. Make sure #WordPress set to auto-update.
9. Never use week username like (admin, Jhon, etc).
10. Use Most Complicated and Secure Password.
11. Change Theme “style.css” file data so, the hacker can’t determinate the theme name and version.
12. hide WordPress detail (version, license etc).
13. use HTTPS (SSL)

Speed:

1. Block Spammy Bot (you can find the list over
the internet).
2. Optimized each and every image for better
performance (WEBP Image format a good
choice).
3. use CDN
4. Combine Js/CSS for less request.
5. Use Cache Plugin for better performance.

What Slow Down Your Wordpress And How To Speed Up Wordpress Site?

What Slows Down Your #WordPress Website?

Your speed test report will likely have multiple
recommendations for improvement. However most of that is technical jargon which is hard for beginners to understand.
However understanding what slows down your
website is key to improving performance and making smarter long-term decisions.
The primary causes for a slow WordPress website are:
Web Hosting – When your web hosting server is not properly configured it can hurt your website speed.
WordPress Configuration – If your WordPress site is not serving cached pages, then it will overload your server thus causing your website to be slow or crash entirely.
Page Size – Mainly images that aren’t optimized for web.
Bad Plugins – If you’re using a poorly coded plugin, then it can significantly slow down your website.
External scripts – External scripts such as ads, font loaders, etc can also have a huge impact on your website performance.
Now that you know what slows down your WordPress website, let’s take a look at how to speed up your WordPress website.
Speeding Up WordPress in Easy Steps (No Coding)
We know that making changes to your website
configuration can be a terrifying thought for
beginners, especially if you’re not a tech-geek.
But don’t worry, you’re not alone. We have helped
thousands of WordPress users improve their
WordPress performance.
We will show you how you can speed up your
WordPress site with just a few clicks (no coding
required).
If you can point-and-click, you can do this!
Install a WordPress Caching Plugin
WordPress pages are “dynamic.” This means they’re
built on the fly every time someone visits a post or
page on your website. To build your pages,
WordPress has to run a process to find the required
information, put it all together, and then display it to
your user.
This process involves a lot of steps, and it can really
slow down your website when you have multiple
people visiting your site at once.
That’s why we recommend every WordPress site use
a caching plugin. Caching can make your WordPress
site anywhere from 2x to 5x faster.
Here’s how it works: Instead of going through the
whole page generation process every time, your
caching plugin makes a copy of the page after the
first load, and then serves that cached version to
every subsequent user.

Guide For Adding Authors to Wordpress

#WordPress is an open-source, Internet blogging
program. The user-friendly nature of WordPress has
made it a very popular program that can be used to
promote businesses or write as a hobby. Many blogs
have more than 1 writer, so that they can cover more
topics and reach a larger audience. You can add
WordPress contributors, editors and authors to your
blog by inviting them while you are logged into your
site. Each role has different responsibilities. For
example, an author can edit and delete their own
posts and upload images, but they cannot edit the
rest of your blog. This article will tell you how to add
authors to WordPress blogs.

Guide For Adding Tumblr to Wordpress

Add Tumblr on Self-Hosted #WordPress Blog
1
Log in to your self-hosted WordPress blog.
WordPress is available on the WordPress
homepage as a hosted blog, or you can use the
WordPress platform on your own website. You can
add a specialized Tumblr widget, but only on a self-
hosted WordPress site for security reasons. If you
are unsure, your blog is most likely hosted by
WordPress and this section will not work for you.
2
Choose a widget that has been made for use
with Tumblr on WordPress.
You can choose the
Tumblr plugin. Choose another plugin called Vuvox
Express if you want to create a slide show of your
latest posts. This is a great option for a video or
photography-heavy Tumblr account.
3
Search for the Tumblr or Vuvox Express
Widget.
This is available in the Plugin Directory at
WordPress.org. Plugins are programming that
extend the abilities of a self-hosted WordPress Blog.
They will help you enable new widgets.
4
Download the latest version of the Tumblr or
Vuvox Express Widget.
You will see this as a
button in the right hand column of the page.
5
Upload "tumblr-widget.php" to your /wp-
content/plugins/ directory on your computer,
after the widget has downloaded.
This will allow
the widget to appear under the Widgets page of
your Appearance tab on your WordPress
dashboard.
6
Click and drag the Tumblr Widget box to the
"Sidebar" box on the upper right hand side of
the page.
You may need to drag it slowly so that
your browser scrolls up to the top right part of your
browser window.
7
Go to your blog to view the updated Tumblr
feed.

content to provide you with SEO, or you can learn to
do it yourself by following certain rules as you post.
There are different processes for optimization when

Reasons Why You Will Never Make Money Blogging

So let’s get to the point:
You’re either new to blogging or you’ve been blogging for a while now and probably think you know everything there is to know about it.
You’ve probably learned how to use #WordPress …or #Blogger and have been playing around with it creating a good looking design.
You’ve even published several posts with a target of going viral, generating traffic and making money.
But it doesn’t happen that way, right? No success.
Duh… Looking back at all the months spent blogging,
no one cares about what you put out there; no one
reads your post.
Are you not forgetting something? I mean you may
be missing out on something:
Your readers.
I know the excitement that comes with owning a
blog and putting out content to make quick bucks,
but to save you from making any more blogging
mistakes, here are a few mistakes you should avoid:
1. You are not concerned about Finding and
growing a Niche
What is your blog about?
Tech? News? Business? Food?
Lots of new bloggers fall into the trap of writing
whatever the hell that comes in their head. A
passion, or niche can not only help boost your traffic
but also grow your audience.
Look for what you’re good at and write about it.
2. Blogging for the Money
So you want quick money blogging? I hate to break
it to you but blogging isn’t for you pal.
All of the people who jump into blogging while
dreaming of $$$ hardly ever succeed.
Why?
This is because blogging is a skill that takes passion
as a prerequisite. Getting listed on Google alone
might take about 2 months. Without the passion to
create valuable content and using the required
marketing strategy to achieve great traffic, you will
be disappointed in the long run.
The race for quick wealth can often lead to many
mistakes; don’t let blogging be one of them.
3. Copying Other People’s Content
We call it plagiarism. That’s right.
So many new bloggers come along the statement
“Content is King” and end up pumping out lots of
low-level content by copying other people’s work
without due credit.
Do you know what happens after that? All the effort
generally goes to waste because search engines don’t
rank these low-quality posts compared to better
higher quality ones.
Never sacrifice quality for quantity and always keep
in mind that one good solid post is a lot better than a
bunch of low-quality ones. Besides, with the
advancement of search engine algorithms, bottom
feeders that go about copying people’s content are
easily latched out. Don’t make that mistake. Create
your content.
4. Too Many Ads
I know you will agree with me that most ads that
show up on web pages are not only painfully
irritating but also annoying. Truth is, too many ads are
not just bad for users but for S.E.O as well.
Want to drive traffic and keep your visitors coming
back to your blog, don’t use too many Ads.
5. Your blog lacks User-friendliness
A number of new bloggers seem to be so focused on
traffic that they never stop to look at the design of
their blog.
Your blog shouldn’t be a maze to navigate through. It
should be designed in a way that is easy for the user
and in a way in which it properly displays your
content.
Ever stopped to take a look at your font? How about
your blog’s color combination?
People come to blogs to gain information, if your blog
is unreadable then there’s no point of it even being
there.
6.Not promoting your blog
Have you ever wondered how most blogs usually
end up on the first page of Google search, and others
don’t?
Hard work!
A key mistake so many new bloggers make is
relying so much on search engines and nothing else.
Let me remind you that there are millions of blogs on
the web; hence it would require you to put in the
work in order to get to the top. The more you
promote your blog, the more backlinks you earn and
the higher you will get ranked. It’s that simple.
