Have you ever been in a situation whereby you need
to transfer money urgently to someone or you need
to load airtime on your phone but there is not
internet access to access your bank’s online banking
platform and there is no ATM around? If yes then you
will understand how frustrating the situation is.
Last week I went on a supervision at a construction
site. I was barely getting to the site when my
assistant who I had sent to purchase some samples
for a presentation called me that the money on him
wont be enough for the purchase. I told him not to
worry that I will transfer the balance to him
immediately.
After I hung up I discovered that there is no internet
reception anywhere in the area so I won’t be able to
access both the mobile and internet banking.
Realizing the urgency of the situation I discovered
that the only thing that can help me at that point is
to use my bank’s transfer code to transfer the money.
Unfortunately, I didnt know the transfer code off-
hand so I had to call my assistant and told him to
help me sent the code as text message.
Therefore, to help people who may be in a similar
situation anytime from now, I am writing the post so
as to give you all the USSD codes for transfer of all
banks in Nigeria.
