Go to #WordPress. Go to wordpress.com and sign
in with your account.

Open the WordPress dashboard. Click My Site to
open the WordPress dashboard.

Open Settings. Click Settings from the side panel.

Click Traffic and scroll down to the bottom.

Open a new tab in your browser. Go to Google
Search Console and sign in with your account.

Add a property. Click ADD A PROPERTY.

Type your website's address and click ADD.

Select a verification method. Click Alternate
methods.

Select the HTML tag method. Mark the HTML tag
box.

Copy the meta tag and return to the
WordPress settings tab.
Don't close the current
tab.

Paste the meta tag in the "Google" box and click
Save Settings.

Return to the Google Search console tab. Click
VERIFY.
